Rosa Cha selling ultra-extravagant sun-only bathing suits

New York based high-end bathing suit label Rosa Cha Atelier’s is selling a new line of expensive suits for as much as $3,200 and the strangest thing is that you can’t go swimming in them. These extravagant suits are meant for sunbathing only. Christina Delice, manager of the Rosa Cha store in New York, said that they have already sold out of a $1,900 caftan and the $1,200 leather suit, but they still have the $1,200 crystal bikini and the $3,200 one-piece featuring Swarovski crystals that mimic the look of diamonds. The least expensive suit in the new range is a twisted-bandeau bikini that sells for $180. Despite the recession, these sun-only bathing suits are selling easily. Delice further said, “The people that buy the pieces are people who, well, can definitely afford these kinds of items. And they understand fashion. It’s what they breathe, what they wear and how they live. They are taken aback when they see that we have such beautiful items. And they really appreciate the limited quantity.” The image to the right is not from the collection and is taken from the official company page.
