A wedding proposal is typically one of the most romantic moments of a woman's life, whether it's meticulously planned or a spontaneous gesture.
So, it's hard to blame Jason Biggs for following his heart by using diamond earrings instead of an engagement ring when he popped the question to his wife, Jenny Mollen.
"I proposed twice," he told People.com. "We were in St Martin. I just bought her these earrings and I took one out of her ear and proposed to her with it."
But despite his then-girlfriend's affirmative reply, Biggs still arranged a more formal proposal for Valentine's Day in Big Sur, California, according to People.
The lovebirds also skipped the usual wedding planning and eloped in Los Angeles on April 23, 2008.
"The newlyweds wanted to take in this moment without any distractions," Biggs' publicist Lisa Jammal explained.
Just like with the double proposals, Biggs and Mollen said their vows all over again a few months later with a second conventional wedding ceremony in Napa, California, along with family and friends.
