Les Ateliers Ruby helmets for the discerning biker

For those who can afford to stroll out riding on their designer bikes, Jerôme Coste’s artistic helmet designs will just add to the style quotient. Jerôme Coste’s Ruby helmets are a result of the designer’s inspiration for Steve McQueen, science fiction, mechanical beauty and the tradition of French luxury. The designer’s first collection focused on open-face motorcycle helmets, the Pavillon, which were a hit for their retro looks. The Ruby range makes no compromises on its obvious safety features: all Ruby helmets use carbon fiber to combine strength with low weight - with the chrome strip around the edge, steel coat of arms, and insides lined with nappa lambskin. The latest in the Ruby range is the Belvedere, which sports a retro-futuristic design with an articulated visor to cover the whole face like a pivoting windscreen reminiscent of American and Japanese science fiction heroes.
