New "Luxury Vodka" Distilled With Diamonds

Illinois-based Diamond Beverages LLC has introduced Diamond Standard Vodka, creating a new category for “luxury” vodkas.  Already, there are luxury brands for scotch, rum, and tequila.  Considering that vodka is one of the most often-ordered spirits in the country, it seemed time to create something more for the vodka aficionado.  Using the world’s most expensive filtration process, a 750ml bottle of Diamond Standard Vodka retails for $79.  Although it is only available in Florida now, California, Nevada and Illinois will have it this summer, and the company intends to have it selling nation-wide within seven months.

Diamond Standard Vodka is made in Poland at the renowned Polmos Siedlce Distillery, and uses only the finest of Dankowski Diamond Rye.  This pure grain vodka is produced by an intricate process including four rounds of distillation and four rounds of filtration.  The filtration process includes a “diamond” round developed at Polmos Siedlce.  Although they do not reveal the secret behind the diamond filtering, they admit that it involves the use of thousands of DeBeers diamonds to create an incredibly pure spirit.

Because a diamond-filtered vodka deserves a great presentation, Diamond Standard Vodka is sold in an award-winning Saverglass™ bottle.  On this perfume-grade bottle is a round-cut 25mm Swarovski crystal from their Crystallized™ Elements Collection.  The bottle itself is meant to be a work of art.  Visit www.diamondstandardvodka.com for more information about the availability of this ultra-premium spirit.
